About the Creative Center

Our aspirations are to serve as a foundation for the development
of the Hanbok culture industry
by producing new content on Hanbok culture
and laying the foundation for truly enjoying Hanbok culture

The Gyeongsangbuk-do Hanbok Culture Creative Center,
modeled around the Korea Hanbok Promotion Institute, is a comprehensive venue
with production, exhibition, sales, and experience functions centered on Hanbok.
The Creative Center promotes the growth of local Hanbok experts with wide-ranging support
such as creative activities, market-entry, and market development, and it also set
the direction of practical support offered to the Hanbok culture industry.

01_Hanbok Pattern Factory & Design Sample Factory

Hanbok Pattern Factory

The Hanbok Pattern Factory offers a venue where expert pattern masters
hired by the Korea Hanbok Promotion Institute can design work instructions
for new Hanbok designers or draw actual sketches of Hanbok garments
and produce them in real life. The Factory also serves as a studio
for Hanbok designers and pattern makers.

Hanbok Design Sample Factory

The Hanbok Design Sample Factory features a sewing room open
to the general public and a special sewing room tailored to the distinct characteristics of Hanbok. It is a venue where you can offer various technical (technology, production, Hanbok, sewing, dolls, etc.) sourcing courses involving professional designers.

02_Live Commerce Studio & Graphic maging Room

Live Commerce Studio

The Live Commerce Studio is a studio for live commerce activities
open to entrepreneurs or participants looking to proceed with crowdfunding.
Representatives of existing resident companies and prospective
entrepreneurs can use the Studio on demand to shoot videos
and product images (photoshoots) intended for online shopping malls.

Graphic Video Room

The Graphic Imaging Room is where participants, prospective entrepreneurs,
and designers working at the Korea Hanbok Promotion Institute can create
Hanbok designs and Hanbok products in 3D CAD format as needed.

03_Hanbok Startup Development Center

Hanbok Startup Development Center

At the Hanbok Startup Development Center, you can conduct
a variety of studies on Hanbok, such as new materials, patterns, weaving,
and gold-leafing. The Center is equipped with auxiliary materials related to
traditional textiles such as natural dyeing, making it the perfect place to
produce Hanbok and teach related technologies.

Major task

In order to strengthen the problem-solving capacity of the Hanbok industry, we have established a platform led by people in the Hanbok culture industry,
rather than administrators without any expert knowledge of Hanbok. We also provide online services that integrate Hanbok culture and different community activities.
